Maggie was a super big girl and changed her first flat tire :)  As a thank you for her help she got to go on an ice cream date with mom.

Rocky Mountain High

We had a great trip to Colorado.  Not only did the kids get to have great slumber parties with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Terry but they (and we) got to enjoy some much needed time with Uncle Andy as well.  

Quinten made it a memorable trip by taking his first steps!  We also enjoyed watching him slide down the stairs and accepting the challenge to try and catch him!

Maggie got to share all of her favorite hot spots with us.  She toured us around the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Butterfly Pavilion in Broomfield and, of course, Santa's Workshop!

Grandma and Grandpa logged some babysitting hours so that Matt & I could spend a few hours in Boulder, go out with my sorority sisters and enjoy some margs with Chuck & Katie .  We also got to check out The Ritz-Carlton, Denver and see some old friends there too.

  

Yet another refreshing trip to Colorado that reminds us how much we miss it.  Can't wait to go back!

I hope everyone had a a wonderful 4th of July.  We have so many things to celebrate and are excited to launch this blog so we can finally begin to share all of our milestones with our friends and family.

I am now a stay at home mom and am blessed to be spending my days with Maggie & Quinn.  I haven't missed the corporate world for a single second since I left it one month ago.  We enjoy everyday together and I love watching the kids learn and develop.  I am doing personal training in the evenings and weddings on the weekend so that I can keep up my skills and get some adult interaction.

Matt is getting ready to begin his second year as Associate Director of Bands at University of Texas at Arlington where he teaches upper level music education courses and instrumental ensembles.
